Hi everyone,

I will host a live Zoom event on Saturday, February 15th, to discuss our 2025 roadmap and answer your questions. I am doing two times so that our Australian community can also take part!

What will the live event cover?

I will do a 15 to 20-minute sketch of what we are working on in 2025 and then open it up for Q&A on any subject (book marketing, questions about Shepherd, etc).

Here are the items I’ll talk about:

• Overview of how the personalized book recommendation email is going and where that will head in 2025 as that scales up.

• The big bookshelf upgrade, how that ties into the work to improve our genre/topic system (and add themes, tropes, and moods), and how we plan to use that to build a connection with readers.

• How do we plan to create a database of all books to allow readers to leave a Book DNA review of any book? Why do we need this to create future features like full author profiles that show all an author’s books (and why will that first come for our members)?

• For readers, my focus is on building the ultimate TBR management tool. I’ll explain why this is a perfect fit for Shepherd and discuss what I think the beta version will launch with.

Then, I will open it up to Q&A to answer any questions you may have.

• UK - 4 pm
